The technical modernization at Ventspils airport allows for its valuable partnership in the regional aviation community and for operation in line with today’s sky-scraping standards of the EU and international civil aviation.

On July 20, to highlight its future intentions of regular domestic traffic the airBaltic operated the first flight to Ventspils.           

LGS will promote further development of ATC services at Ventspils airport: radar information access at the airport has been planned in a near future, and introduction of GPS GNSS for advanced qualities of instrumental flights has been discussed.
