Radionavigation Division is responsible for technical maintenance of civil aviation ground based navigation aids.
Radionavigation Division ensures operative control, periodical technical maintenance and repairing of VOR (DVOR)/DME beacons in Riga, Ventspils, Liepaja, Trakshi and Daugavpils, and ILS/DME beacons in "Riga" and "Liepaja" airports, in order to comply with ICAO standards.
The given navaids are maintained in accordance with instructions, which are developed on the basis of the national regulation CA RTSL TEN-03, manufacturer’s requirements and ICAO recommendations.
