Communication Division is responsible for technical maintenance of ATC telecommunication equipment.
- Areas of responsibility:
- mobile communication ground-ground and air – ground
- AFTN commutation system centre
- multiplexing equipment
- line cable network
- telephone communication
Division co-operates with major telecommunication operators, such as Lattelekom, LMT and others.
Communication Division is also involved in:
- projects dealing with implementation of new systems and technologies;
- international work groups of ICAO , EUROCONTROL etc.
