LGS Hosts PANSA Leadership to Discuss Regional Aviation Challenges
On Friday, October 24, representatives of the Board of State Joint Stock Company Latvijas Gaisa satiksme (LGS) met with the Chief Executive Officer of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA), Magdalena Jaworska-Mackowiak, and Vice President for Air Traffic Management Rafal Marczewski.
The discussions focused on current challenges in air traffic management and developments related to the geopolitical situation in the region.
Participants exchanged information on flight navigation disruptions affecting the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), measures to counter unlawful drone activity, the use of unmanned aircraft for flight inspections, and cybersecurity in air traffic management.
Both parties agreed on the importance of further strengthening cooperation — both bilaterally and within the wider regional framework.
