Mārtiņš Krieviņš
Chairman of the Board
On January 15, 2026, Mārtiņš Krieviņš was elected as Chairman of the Board of VAS „Latvijas gaisa satiksme” until such time as the representative of the LGS shareholder appoints a person selected through a public candidate application procedure (competition) in accordance with the procedures laid down in the regulatory enactments.
M. Krieviņš obtained a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Latvia in 1999, and a master’s degree in management science from the International Economics and Business Studies master’s programme in 2001. In 1997, he graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SSE Riga) with a bachelor’s degree in economics and business management.
He began his career in 1995 as a technician at the Riga Information Technology Institute. He has worked in several private and state-owned companies, including AAS „Balta”, SIA „PricewaterhouseCoopers”, VAS „Latvijas Pasts”, the Latvian branch of „Accenture”, and others. From 2017 to 2021, M. Krieviņš served as Director of the Finance Department at VAS „Ceļu satiksmes drošības direkcija” (Road Traffic Safety Directorate, CSDD), and since 2021 he has been a member of the CSDD Board.
