The training of air traffic control trainee dispatchers has concluded in Madrid, Spain
An important achievement on the professional path of the new air traffic controllers of “Latvijas gaisa satiksme”!
We are pleased to congratulate our new ACS and APS ATCO rating candidates on the successful completion of training at Entry Point North Spain in Madrid.
This is a significant step towards one of the most responsible professions in aviation. An intensive training period has been completed, with a great deal of work, knowledge and perseverance invested. As a result, 8 trainee controllers obtained the APS rating, and all 10 obtained the ACS rating.
After returning to Latvia, the new colleagues will have the opportunity to rest for two weeks, but very soon – in September – the next challenge will begin: Transitional training at the “Latvijas gaisa satiksme” Training Centre, where the knowledge and skills acquired will be consolidated in both theoretical and practical training.
A great deal of work has been done, yet even greater challenges and achievements lie ahead. Congratulations on completing an important stage and on the start of an even more significant one! We wish you success, endurance and a safe path to professional achievements!
