Aleksandrs Gusevs

Member of the Supervisory Board

Aleksandrs Gusevs has graduated the Latvian Maritime Academy. He holds a bachelor of social sciences degree in management from Riga Technical University and a professional master’s degree in business management from the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga.

From 2012 until 2015 he was Head of the Operational Department at SIA “Ventspils Naftas Terminālis”. He has been a member of the board at SIA “Smartlynx Airlines” since 2016, and prior to that he had been the Director for Commercial Issues at this company and also acted as Head of the Operational Department. During Gusevs’ tenure the company grew from a small airline into a leader in its segment in Europe. He has been elected as a member of the Supervisory Board of SJC “Latvijas gaisa satiksme” for 5 years, his mandate expiring on 01.02.2027. A.Gusevs meets the criteria of an independent Supervisory Board member.
